The Adams County Arts Council will celebrate the opening exhibitions of ACAC summer camp artwork and Lora Christine Vannoy’s mixed media abstractions on Friday, August 6, at the Arts Education Center, located at 125 S. Washington Street, Gettysburg. Andy Smith’s monoprints will also be featured in the Gallery through the month of August. The ACAC will host a First Friday artist reception from 5:00-7:30 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
2D and 3D Artwork created by ACAC summer camp students throughout the summer will be featured. Media will include colored pencil, mixed media, printmaking, watercolor, pottery, batik, and more. Their pieces were created during their week-long themed camp attended at the ACAC’s Arts Education Center.
