Discover Frederick’s past as we navigate through the labyrinth of graves, crypts and monuments of historic Mount Olivet Cemetery. One of Maryland’s largest and most beautiful cemeteries. Final resting place of Francis Scott Key, Maryland’s first governor; Thomas Johnson and civil war heroine; Barbara Fritchie.

Tour also includes intriguing facts about the cemetery’s origin, tombstone design, grave robbing, mass graves, plus stops at other distinctive burial plots, including the key memorial chapel.
