“Imagine a world where airships roam the skies, steam powers Rube Goldberg-inspired contraptions. Imagine a universe where both fictional and non-fictional characters can exist. A place where both men and woman are equally capable, strong, intelligent and frequently mysterious. Imagine a talented collective of musicians, composers and artists who bring these visions to life in a unique musical melange that is lyrically, musically, and visually evocative. This is “Night Watch Paradox!””
What an intro! We’re excited to welcome newcomers (to the GO, at least) Night Watch Paradox on December 3rd for some late night tales. It’s going to be a fun ride, and you would never dare to miss it, right?! Check out the links below to learn about this eclectic band:

“I grew up listening to a multitude of genres. As a songwriter, there are many benefits to having genre versatility,” said Bella. “I get to share my love for Folk, Rock, R&B, Pop, and Country to its fullest. This record represents that. I want my fans to enjoy these little chapters of my life. Truly a unique act unlike anything yet, Mike Oregano has fully commercialized both the aesthetic and sonic details of the “One Man Band” concept. Performing in a unique Reggae/Hip Hop/Jazz style, he is sure to turn heads wherever he is rockin’!
Mike uses his feet to hit the drums as well as an array of fully intuitive pedal boards complete with: loopers, bass splits, synthesizer sounds, etc. He records the rhythm section (guitar and bass) on the spot, and layers over it with drums, solos, fills, etc. all while singing, rapping, or talk boxing, and soloing on his guitar simultaneously.

“The man Jerry Lee Lewis once likened to “that Cash kid, but good” has enjoyed a long and varied career. Jack Grace is that man: a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who’s been touring and recording for over 25 years. His duet with Norah Jones, “Bad Wind Blowing” was a standout tune on his last recording, Everything I Say Is A Lie, produced by Joan Jett and Steve Earle’s former guitarist Eric Ambel. He’s performed with a diverse collection of artists, like the aforementioned Lewis as well as Doc Watson, Fishbone, Junior Brown, The Meters and has even shared the bill with Merle Haggard.”
“Hanging out backstage with Haggard had a particular significance. When Jack handed over his 1947 Gibson acoustic to Merle to autograph, the country legend lifted the guitar into the air, saying, “I think I feel a few more songs in this one.””
Another longtime friend of the Garryowen, Jack Grace is returning for two shows in 2022. He has one heck of a career under his belt, and it continues to this day. Check out the links below to learn more about this talented individual and the many talents he’s played with over the years:

“Jason Dea West is an American troubadour who sings what he lives and lives what he sings. Wests’ poignant lyrics are brilliantly blended with vintage country, folk and blues, and timely sensibilities. From epic guitar and harmonica instrumentals to humorous song as story, Jason never strays very far from the anarchic punk-folk roots of his beloved former band Barefoot Surrender and his celebrated current band Intuitive Compass.”
This is going to be a show for the ages here at the Garryowen, and we sure are glad Jason got a hold of us to make it happen! Be sure to grab a pint before sitting down and listening to the tales of this talented musician.
