“The man Jerry Lee Lewis once likened to “that Cash kid, but good” has enjoyed a long and varied career. Jack Grace is that man: a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who’s been touring and recording for over 25 years. His duet with Norah Jones, “Bad Wind Blowing” was a standout tune on his last recording, Everything I Say Is A Lie, produced by Joan Jett and Steve Earle’s former guitarist Eric Ambel. He’s performed with a diverse collection of artists, like the aforementioned Lewis as well as Doc Watson, Fishbone, Junior Brown, The Meters and has even shared the bill with Merle Haggard.”
“Hanging out backstage with Haggard had a particular significance. When Jack handed over his 1947 Gibson acoustic to Merle to autograph, the country legend lifted the guitar into the air, saying, “I think I feel a few more songs in this one.””
Another longtime friend of the Garryowen, Jack Grace is returning for two shows in 2022. He has one heck of a career under his belt, and it continues to this day. Check out the links below to learn more about this talented individual and the many talents he’s played with over the years:

“Jason Dea West is an American troubadour who sings what he lives and lives what he sings. Wests’ poignant lyrics are brilliantly blended with vintage country, folk and blues, and timely sensibilities. From epic guitar and harmonica instrumentals to humorous song as story, Jason never strays very far from the anarchic punk-folk roots of his beloved former band Barefoot Surrender and his celebrated current band Intuitive Compass.”
This is going to be a show for the ages here at the Garryowen, and we sure are glad Jason got a hold of us to make it happen! Be sure to grab a pint before sitting down and listening to the tales of this talented musician.

El Radness – Post Stupid Core – Followers of Cru Jones – Constantly in search of eternal Radness.
Trading the Inside – Self described as “rough with rhythm,” Trading the Inside’s music encompasses a swirling wall of sound. Comprised of deliriously loud guitars, and a hypnotically intoxicating rhythm section, their vocal melodies leave you humming, with a tendency to earworm their way into your subconscious.
It’s a punk-rock review at the GO, and it’s been too long since we’ve had a show like this. Leave the kids at home and have a night to yourself. But please, no moshing. Our building, and bodies, are not as young as they once were.

“Hi! I’m Professor Goldstein. By day I’m a teacher. I’m a Maryland public school teacher. I’m a transgender Maryland public school teacher. I’m a Jewish transgender Maryland public school teacher. By night I’m still all of these things but I have a guitar in my hands and a microphone in front of me that I’ve been slowly learning how to use over the past decade. My students are still there in my lyrics about them and the playful banter I use to create a community around my music. My queerness in how I present myself. My Jewish values in what I boost and the chords I’ve plunked out from the Jewish fake book.
My band (Professor Goldstein & The Adjuncts) and I have been releasing music since March of 2020 and have our new single “Sick in New York” coming up on December 19th, 2021. Listen to the tune below.”
This should be a fun time. We’re looking forward to host this jolly band of folks who love to be themselves. It’s another first for the GO, so make them feel at home.

It’s always a pleasure to have repeat bands, especially bands like Andy Bopp & the Strungouts! They’ll be gracing us with three shows in 2022. There will be plenty of chances to see them, so no excuses.
“Andy Bopp, Baltimore’s Indie and Power Pop Rock Legend, has written, recorded and released dozens of albums in his four decades in the music business. This is a band of talented musicians formed to play original songs by Andy Bopp, as well as traditional folk and American Civil War compositions.”

“From jam sessions to festival stages, this southern Pennsylvania supergroup creates a powerful freight train of song.”
Welcome back to the Garryowen, Copper Bets! Stop out for a night of blues and good ol’ rock & roll. They’ll be sure to get you on your feet and having a good time. Enjoy your stay, have a pint, and we’ll see you at the GO!

He’s back! ‘Olds Sleeper’ has a knack for that old timey blues/folk. It gets into your soul, and you can’t help but be enchanted by his playing. He’ll be playing three show for us in 2022. Stop out and relax for a few!
“Heath’s a blues and Americana musician from York, PA. His music is a mix of originals that draws from Delta blues, old country, folk, and Americana. He’s been featured on WITF as an artist of the month, https://www.witf.org/…/witf_music_olds_and_the_absolution/, and nominated as an artist of the year by Saving Country Music, (https://www.savingcountrymusic.com/?s=olds+sleeper). He was also featured on NODEPRESSION.com, https://www.nodepression.com/…/an-interview-with-olds…/.

Heath has played extensively over the Lancaster/York area, including Tellus 360 as a MFE featured songwriter, Mudhook Brewing, Lancaster Dispensing Co., Moondancer Winery, Molly’s Courtyard Cafe, and McCleary’s in Marietta. He was also featured as an emerging artist at the 2018 Susquehanna Folk Music Festival. He currently plays every second Friday at Stoll and Wolfe in Lititz, PA.”

Truly a unique act unlike anything yet, Mike Oregano has fully commercialized both the aesthetic and sonic details of the “One Man Band” concept. Performing in a unique Reggae/Hip Hop/Jazz style, he is sure to turn heads wherever he is rockin’!
Mike uses his feet to hit the drums as well as an array of fully intuitive pedal boards complete with: loopers, bass splits, synthesizer sounds, etc. He records the rhythm section (guitar and bass) on the spot, and layers over it with drums, solos, fills, etc. all while singing, rapping, or talk boxing, and soloing on his guitar simultaneously.
