Gettysburg Pride Fest is a celebration of all things LGBTQ+ Allies in a family friendly weekend of many events (most of which are free admission) in downtown Gettysburg. Events include educational elements, advocacy, health and wellness information, live entertainment, and a march!

A Gettysburg Christmas Festival, the popular annual event that draws thousands to town, will return this year and take place over two weekends, Main Street Gettysburg announced this week. Festival weekends will be Dec. 3-5 and Dec. 10-12 and will feature 2021-appropriate activities, promotions, and traditional small-town holiday charm. Main Street Gettysburg produces the event each year as a way to promote the holidays in historic downtown Gettysburg and encourage locals, visitors, and businesses to enjoy all that the town has to offer.
Participation can be a day, a weekend or both weekends. Participating events will be listed on the Festival’s official website at www.AGettysburgChristmasFestival.com, and Main Street Gettysburg will promote the Festival and the individual events. People also are encouraged to follow the Festival on Facebook and Instagram using @GettysubrgChristmas. Shippensburg D.O.I.T. presents Oktoberfest 2021!

Join the Friends of Pine Grove Furnace for a 2-day family-oriented weekend featuring:

Join us Saturday evening for the famous Legend of the Hairy Hand and Pumpkin Float on Fuller Lake. There will be a pumpkin parade at 6:15 pm followed the Hairy Hand at 7 pm. To learn more about Fuller Lake and the Legend of the Hairy Hand, click here.

Festival hours: Saturday 11 AM to 7 PM, followed by the Hairy Hand at 7 PM; and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM. There is no charge to enter the park and attend the festival itself.

Both the Appalachian Trail Museum and the Pine Grove General Store will be open during Fall Fest weekend on October 19 and 20. In addition, the Ironmaster’s Mansion will be offering tours at 1 PM, 2 PM and 3 PM during Fall Fest weekend. There will be a shuttle bus operating on Saturday to take guests from Fuller Lake to the Museum, Store, and Mansion during Fall Fest.

The 57th National Apple Harvest will be held October 2-3 & 9-10, 2021. The festival is presented by the Upper Adams Jaycees. As always, the festival is held the first two full weekends in October, rain or shine. Visit us at www.appleharvest.com for more information. Tag us using #AppleHarvestFest!

The festival, which is held during the first two full weekends in October, has been celebrating beautiful crafts, great music, and wonderful food for over fifty years. The festival has something for everyone with hundreds of arts and crafts dealers, demonstrations, contests, food stands, and entertainment.

The festival is located in the heart of Pennsylvania Apple country, near historic Gettysburg, and is within a two-hour drive of Washington DC, Baltimore MD, and Harrisburg PA.

Special attractions include The Apple Auditorium and Antique Cars, Steam Engine Displays, Orchard Tours, Petting Zoo, Craftsman Demonstrations, and appearances by the PA Apple Queen.

Uprise Fest returns for 2021.

Uprise Festival is a non-profit organization that was created in 2004 to reach people in the local area through music. Bring your family and friends to the Bubbler Foundation Festival at South Middleton Park. The Festival is held annually on Labor Day weekend preceding the Community Fireworks Show. The annual Labor Day fireworks will follow the festival beginning at dusk at the Boiling Springs High School football field.

For 2021, the Shippensburg Corn Festival is moving from downtown to the Shippensburg Fairgrounds.

Guests will still enjoy more than 250 crafts and antique vendors plus food booths selling corn in every available form. There will be free family entertainment and a lively corn-eating contest.

Join us for the first ever Dirty Boots Country Fest August 27th & 28th in Boonsboro, Maryland! Enjoy plenty  of action and activities for families and adults alike. Corvettes at Carlisle, at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, is the largest Corvette event in the world. Join enthusiasts and over 5,000 of America’s classic sports car in a weekend filled with fun and all-things ‘Vette.

The fairgrounds will be packed and offer a huge automotive flea market with a wide variety of vendors, an all-Corvette car corral, and more.

Rev up the action at the Corvette Show with autocross. Experienced drivers can test their driving skills while beginners can learn more about the sport. They can even compete to become the King of the X.

Corvettes at Carlisle also offers great shopping opportunities. Buy a car and everything to go with it from the variety of vendors filling the fairgrounds. The car corral offers notary services including temporary tags so you can shop, compare and make the deal directly with the owner.

This event is great for the whole family and features a kids’ section with crafts, contests, and a play area, and the Women’s Oasis Tent with massages, makeovers, shopping, and more. Don’t miss the Corvette Parade on Saturday night through Downtown Carlisle, which culminates into a giant street party with great music, food, and more than 400 Corvettes.
