Star-Spangled Fireworks Train

Board the train for a ride and spectacular front-row view of the fireworks. Train departs at 8 PM from our station.  We’ll ride to the end of the line, stop at the carnival grounds where we will get off the train to watch the fireworks at 10 PM, then take the short ride back to the station. Bring a flashlight and a blanket to sit on. Reservations Required.

Join the Gettysburg Area Community for a celebration of America’s Independence, Monday, July 4 at Gettysburg Area Rec Park
This annual event includes music, food trucks, and fireworks.
Hosted by Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority and the Rotary Club of Gettysburg.
3 p.m. – Nineteen food trucks, and three alcohol vendors begin serving; Adams County’s Jalopy Deluxe band takes the stage
6 p.m. – Adams County-based band, Schizophonic, performs
9:20 p.m. – Fireworks, sponsored by Destination Gettysburg

Onsite parking is available on a first come, first served basis for $6. Receive a one-dollar discount if  paid by cash. Accessible parking also available.


Join us for the largest Independence Day celebration in Frederick County! Enjoy non-stop children’s activities, a volleyball tournament and fabulous local food, beer and spirits! Two stages of live entertainment will keep the park rocking throughout the day into a spectacular fireworks display which will fill the skies above Baker Park at dusk.

Come see flute players of all ages and skills playing patriotic tunes in front of the Gettysburg Hotel on July 4, 2022.

Join us in celebrating America with the charm of small-town patriotism at our second annual Independence Day Festival! This event features vendors, live music, food, a craft beer garden, face painting and more, hosted by the City of Brunswick, Brunswick Main Street, and Smoketown Brewing Station.
