Key West Productions present an entertaining, brotherly revival of America’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll singing-siblings.

The greatest hits of the ‘50s and ‘60s come alive as the Zmed Brothers revive the iconic sounds of The Everly Brothers, America’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll singing-sibling duo. Brothers Zachary and Dylan aim not to impersonate but to do their best in honoring the aesthetics of the Everly Brothers iconic sound and honor the important role they played in pioneering the rock n’ roll movement, all while having a little fun sharing their own personal story. The Zmed Brothers continuously strive to pay homage to their personal roots by always infusing an instinctual blend of entertainment (a la Smothers Brothers) and contextual education in their performance.

Folk musicians Jay Ungar and Molly Mason have contributed to the soundtracks of numerous Ken Burns documentaries since the 1980s. Although The Kings Of Queen was only established in 2021, they have received a ton of attention as it is clear to all who have seen them perform live that they are one of the very few elite Queen tributes.

Lead vocalist Emo Alaeddin’s vocal tone and range are unparalleled. Blessed with an abundance of musicality and stage presence, not to mention a striking resemblance to Freddie Mercury, Alaeddin almost single-handedly recreates the experience of attending a live Queen performance.

The SMJO will present “The Legacy of Max Roach” as part of FCC’s Jazz Festival, part of the College’s Music Program. Members of the SMJO will work with FCC music students during the day and perform in the evening.

During the 1940s, Max Roach revolutionized the world of modern drum-set playing which inspired contemporary music legends Chick Web, Sonny Greer, Jo Jones, and the innovations of Kenny Clarke. Roach developed a swing and cymbal technique, with dynamic expression that became the template for the creative imagination and technical mastery required to move modern jazz forward. Featuring songs such as Charlie Parker’s “Ko Ko,” Max Roach and Clifford Brown’s recording of “Delilah,” and his own composition “Little Folks,” the SJMO honors the legacy of Max Roach, who would have been 100 years old in January 2024.

The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Septet includes on alto saxophone Charlie Young, trumpet Kenny Rittenhouse, tenor sax Scott Silbert, trombone Mark Williams, piano Tony Nalker, bass Amy Shook, and drums Ken Kimery.

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So, when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. Events take place each day of the event from 10AM to 2PM. A sign language interpreter will be stationed at the Sugar Shack on both Sundays. Syrup-making demonstrations and hayrides take place every hour on the hour. $5 donation per person is requested at the entrance. It’s an evening of songs, stories and American rock by two legendary bands, both celebrating their 50th Anniversary!  Country rockers Pure Prairie League are known for their hit song “Amie” – perhaps the most beloved country rock song of all time – and “Two Lane Highway,” “Let Me Love You Tonight,” and “Falling In and Out of Love.” With nine straight albums that made the Billboard charts, PPL is considered one of the leading bands of the country rock movement. Southern rock fans know well Atlanta Rhythm Section’s 1978 breakthrough album Champagne Jam, which featured the hits “Imaginary Lover” and “I’m Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight.”  ARS followed that up with two more certified Gold albums and seven additional Top 40 singles to cement their reputation as amazing songwriters and live performers.
